Just finished watching the new episode of Gossip Girl. Georgina told B. "Tell Jesus, the bitch is back." It seems to me that in the film it is always easier to be evil. And then I find somewhat confused, God creates us not to make us evil, doesn't He? But then why is it easier to be followers of Satan? During the noon sleep, I got an answer: because God also gifts us with free will--we are allowed to do whatever we want, but it doesn't mean that God will leave us alone. He's also telling us what not to do at the same time. So if we break the "rules", we get punished.
Suddenly, I realized that this is the model of a normal Chinese family. Parents seem to perform the God role and the children are expected to obey them. Once the parents are disobeyed, they will punish their children by not buying them new toys or whatever. I mean, it is somewhat pathetic. Everyone is gifted with free will, so are the children.
